Kaufman County’s Bee-Happy Day Program journey started in 2019 when Shelley Brookins envisioned an affordable rehabilitation program for adults with developmental disabilities. Furthering their starting mission, Bee-Happy is preparing to launch a new program entitled Reimagine.
Reimagine is a ministry, support, and respite program for parents of special needs children serving Kaufman County, in partnership with Still Waters and Kaufman First Baptist Church. As a supportive outlet, As a supportive outlet, Reimagine offers parental and caregiver weekly support meetings during the school year. Through its respite care program, Reimagine provides short-term care and support services to assist families and caregivers with developmentally challenged adults and children. This allows parents and caregivers a small bit of free time for running errands, taking a much-needed nap, or making time for friends and family. Thank you Lord for an amazing night !!
Tonight our First ever BINGO event was a HUGE blessing! We were overwhelmed by all that showed! We are so thankful to everyone who came out in support of our programs and our amazing volunteers! God has blessed us so much with an amazing community who continues to go above and beyond for our amazing families. Thank you to As The Crow Flies Ministries for partnering with us! |
