ABOUT US

Serving Kaufman County and Surrounding Areas

The Dream

It all began in 2019 when Shelley Brookins met a 30 something intellectually disabled married couple who were homebound.  They yearned to be part of the community and take part in social activities.  The couple was unable to afford to attend a state supported day habilitation program in the next city over and began to struggle with anxiety and depression.  Trying to help she began to research what sources were available and found most individuals are on long waiting lists for 15+ years and there were not any private pay facilities that offered affordable day programs.  Through this God began to speak and provided a vision to create Bee-Happy Day Program. She soon created a prayer strategy plan for the vision God provided. Many prayer warriors around the US began to petition God on behalf of Bee-Happy Day Hab.  Through these prayers God has provided evidence that He wants to meet the needs of people seeking these types of programs.
